Parks & Recreation Day: Where Community Grows will be held on Friday, July 10, 2026!

This year's Parks & Recreation Day will be held at Edgeley Grove Park (864 Smith Lane, Fallston) from 5-8 p.m., followed by a showing of Space Jam: A New Legacy from 7:45-9:30 p.m.

We will have food trucks, moon bounces, field games, obstacle courses, live demonstrations and more, so mark your calendars, you won't want to miss it!

Starting on or about June 22nd, the Broad Creek Boat Launch will be closed for repairs to the floating pier. The floating pier needs to be removed to complete the repairs. The work is anticipated to take approximately one week to complete.

UPDATE: Dredging of Broad Creek is the responsibility of Exelon Corporation. We have reached out to Exelon for an update concerning status of the dredging project. When we receive an update, we will share it here.

REMINDER:

Starting on or about Monday, June 15th, the walkway located at the Fallston Recreation Complex (1609 Fallston Rd., Fallston, MD) from the parking lot to the turf field will be closed while we replace the porous concrete areas. We anticipate construction to be completed in approximately two weeks, weather permitting.

Please avoid the construction area and obey posted signage. We appreciate your patience as we make improvements to the park.

Starting tomorrow, June 12th, our Parks & Recreation contractor will begin work to improve the ADA access at the Blake’s Venture trailhead and bathroom building.

Please obey all construction signs. We anticipate the work will be completed by Monday, June 22nd. Port-a-pots are available at the building during this work.
