There’s just something special about the 4th of July in Bee County.

The sound of sirens and marching bands rolling through downtown… kids waving flags from lawn chairs… families gathered along the parade route… veterans being honored… neighbors reconnecting… these are some of my favorite memories growing up here in Beeville.

This year, we invite you to help keep that tradition alive.

The City of Beeville Main Street Program, alongside our community partners, is excited to announce that parade entries are now OPEN for the 2026 America’s 250th Anniversary Parade! 🇺🇸🐝

Whether you’re a business, school, nonprofit organization, church group, sports team, veterans' organization, or community member, we would LOVE to have you be part of this special hometown tradition.

🌿 Spring Clean Up is happening this Saturday from 8 AM – 5 PM at the Collection Station located at 200 S. Jackson! 🌿

Take this opportunity to clean up around your home and help keep our community looking its best. Please review the flyer for accepted and prohibited items before arriving.

We are also still looking for volunteers to help throughout the day, and we encourage anyone needing assistance with cleanup items or transportation to reach out to us.

This week, America pauses to honor the officers who made the ultimate sacrifice and to recognize the men and women who continue to wear the badge with courage, purpose, and pride.

For TMPA, this week is personal.

TMPA will have a team in Washington, D.C. attending National Police Week events, standing alongside survivors, families, and law enforcement officers from across the country.

We remember the fallen.
We stand with the survivors.
We honor those still answering the call.
