k is a twenty-year resident of Beech Grove. He is married to Joanne, he has raised four children (all of whom attended Beech Grove schools) and he is a proud grandfather of five. He is an Account Executive at Carpetbaggers, an Indianapolis-based flooring business. For five years, he was proprietor of The Mug Rack, a pizza business on Beech Grove’s Main Street. Mayor Dilk has been active in the community, coaching girls basketball and serving on various boards and commissions. He was sworn into office on January 25, 2011.

Mayor Dilk has secured funding for the Main Street project. Along with Mayor-Elect Dennis Buckley, members of the Council and Board of Works, Mayor Dilk made the announcement at a press conference at 10am this morning.

Mayor Dilk's 2012 budget goes before the City Council for adoption this evening at 7:00pm at City Hall. The Boards of Sanitation and Public Works will meet beginning at 6:00pm. The public is welcome and invited to attend.

The fall festival begins in a half hour! The Promoters Club always does a great job with this event. Hours are Wednesday through Friday, 6pm-11pm, and Saturday from the parade to 11:00pm. Have a safe week and enjoy the festivities!
