Coach Lynch joins the Hornet family with 11 years of coaching experience, including successful stints at Greenbrier, Conway Christian, and Parkers Chapel—highlighted by a memorable trip to the State Finals in 2023.

A native of Valley Springs, Coach Lynch is a two-time graduate of Ouachita Baptist University. Moving to the community with him are his wife, Amy, and their two children, Sloane (3) and Leyton (1).

We are incredibly excited to welcome the Lynch family to our district and look forward to the leadership and experience he will bring to our athletic programs.

Please join us in welcoming Isaac Mays to the South Side Bee Branch school district!

Originally from Russellville, Arkansas, Isaac is a recent graduate of Arkansas Tech University. A dedicated trumpet player, he brings a deep passion for music education to our community. Outside the classroom, Isaac enjoys hunting and fishing, and his faith as a committed Christian plays an important role in his life and personal values.

As an educator, Isaac’s primary goals are to cultivate a love and appreciation for all types of music and to promote student success by achieving musical standards. He is deeply committed to helping students grow both musically and personally, fostering an environment where they can develop confidence, creativity, and a lifelong appreciation for the arts.

We are excited to see the impact he will have on our students. Welcome to the Hornet family, Isaac!

That’s a Wrap on Summer Camp!

Over the past two weeks, our elementary campus was buzzing with energy and excitement as we hosted our Summer Educational Camp for students in kindergarten through 5th grade.

Our young learners did an incredible job balancing growth and play:

Sharpening Skills: Campers worked each day, reinforcing core academic skills to stay ahead and prepare for the upcoming school year.

Outdoor Fun: Learning wasn't just limited to the classroom! Students took full advantage of the weather, enjoying the outdoors.

Thank you to our dedicated teachers, staff, and families for making these past two weeks such a resounding success. We are so proud of our campers' hard work and enthusiastic spirit!

Welcome to the Hornet family!

We are thrilled to introduce Emma Harrell, our new art teacher at South Side Bee Branch!

Emma joins us from Castroville, Texas, where she spent the last two years teaching art and coaching swimming and diving. Her passion for the visual arts runs deep—all the way back to kindergarten, when she dressed up as an artist for career day!

She grew her love for the arts by exploring a wide variety of media while earning her Bachelor of Art and teaching certification at the University of Texas at San Antonio. Now, she is ready to inspire our students and share that creative passion with the South Side Bee Branch community.

Outside the classroom, Emma enjoys singing, playing the ukulele, playing video games, and swimming.

Please join us in giving Emma a warm Arkansas welcome. We are so glad you're here, Emma!

Turf installation has officially begun on our football field. Crews are working long hours and moving quickly to ensure everything is ready for the football season.

Summer Volleyball Practice

The high school girls' volleyball team is deep into its summer training schedule, providing the girls with a consistent opportunity to develop their skills and prepare for the upcoming season.

Players participate in organized practice games focused on developing fundamental skills, teamwork, and conditioning. We appreciate the steady effort and dedication of our students and coaches who are participating in these sessions throughout the summer months.
