Today, members of the Bedford Honor Guard had the privilege of attending the funeral services for Robert "Bobby" Kilduff, Jr. a dedicated firefighter who made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty.

Standing alongside brothers and sisters from across the fire service, we joined in honoring Firefighter Kilduff’s life, service, and commitment to protecting others. The traditions and ceremonies of the fire service serve as a powerful reminder that the bonds of our profession extend far beyond individual departments.

We extend our deepest condolences to Firefighter Kilduff’s family, friends, and all members of the Boston Fire Department. His sacrifice will never be forgotten, and his legacy of service will continue to inspire firefighters for generations to come.

Rest easy, Firefighter Kilduff. We have the watch.

🇺🇸While some members were out handling calls, other members of Shift 1 fixed the flag poles outside of the Bedford Safety Complex!

🇺🇸Without skipping an opportunity to train, members got to freshen up on their Tower 1 skills! Operating out of the platform and maneuvering the ladder through the wind and a little rain shower. They even had a little audience across the street for a short period of time!

🇺🇸As a reminder, if you have an American flag that is torn, faded, worn out, or no longer serviceable, you can now drop it off for proper disposal at the Bedford Safety Complex, in the Fire Permit Room!
