Brain Games XXIII are May 11 and 12 at the StoneGate Arts & Education Center. Play begins at 6 p.m. both nights. We are looking for sponsors, players and volunteers. Sponsorships are $250; there’s no cost to play.

The Brain Games are a team-based knowledge competition in which 16 teams compete over two evenings for cash and a traveling trophy. Please email [email protected] for more information.

The Parent Project is a 10-week program that gives parents real, practical tools to navigate tough situations at home. Classes meet once a week at the StoneGate Arts & Education Center in Bedford.

What parents will gain:

✅ Strategies to prevent or step in on alcohol & drug use
✅ Tools to improve school attendance & performance
✅ Practical solutions for media and screen time struggles

This scholarship is open to any Senior in Lawrence County who is currently in foster care, has been part of the foster system, or has lived in a foster home — whether as a foster child or in a foster family.

Whether you’re heading to college, trade school, vocational training, or entering the workforce, this scholarship was created to support your next step. 💛
