Elevated Fire Weather Conditions This Afternoon...

A combination of well-above average temperatures, low relative humidity, breezy winds, and worsening drought conditions will result in elevated fire weather conditions for this afternoon. Winds will be out of the southwest this afternoon, gusting up to 20 to 25 mph, and relative humidity values will drop to around 25 to 35 percent across the area. !!!ATTENTION!!!! PUBLIC NOTICE

Trimble County EMS is having to use snow chains to navigate snow covered roads and driveways. With that being said response times are a little slower because top speed with snow chains is 35-40 MPH. We are also only transporting to local hospitals until road conditions are better.
