📣 WE'RE HIRING! | FULL-TIME OFFICE ASSISTANT

Iowa State University Extension and Outreach – Adams and Taylor Counties are looking for an organized, dependable and people-oriented professional to join our team in Bedford and Corning, Iowa!

This regular full-time position provides essential day-to-day office, bookkeeping and program support. This position will be shared between both offices. Two days a week will be in Corning, two days a week will be in Bedford.

✨ What you'll do:
• Provide excellent customer service by phone, email and in person
• Perform bookkeeping and financial support duties
• Process receipts, deposits, payables and expenditures
• Reconcile accounts and prepare financial reports
• Coordinate meetings, room reservations and program registrations
• Maintain office files, supplies, equipment and publications
• Assist with program logistics and off-site programming
• Help maintain a welcoming, organized office environment
• Provide general administrative support to county staff

💼 What we're looking for:
✔ Associate degree OR two years of office management experience
✔ Bookkeeping experience
✔ Strong communication and organizational skills
✔ Computer and problem-solving skills
✔ Excellent customer service skills
✔ Ability to work independently and as part of a team

🕐 Hours: 32–40 hours per week, Monday–Thursday
💰 Pay: $16.00-$18.00 per hour based on experience
⭐ Benefits: Holiday pay, paid time off, health and dental insurance offered with generous stipend, life insurance, mileage stipend, plus IPERS
