🎉✂️ Ribbon Cutting Celebration! ✂️🎉

The Bedford Area Chamber is excited to welcome Mind the Gap to our business community!

Join us on June 18 at 11:00 a.m. inside The Dunning House, 404 Main Street, as we celebrate this exciting new addition to downtown Bedford.

Mind the Gap offers a unique selection of new and used books, including graphic novels, manga, and other items. Local artist’s work will also be for sale! Whether you’re an avid reader, a collector, or simply love discovering something unexpected, this is a shop you’ll want to explore. You never know what treasure you might find—or what item you didn’t even know you needed!

Come help us celebrate, browse the inventory, and show your support for another small business choosing Bedford.

Membership Monday: Three Fire Supply

We are excited to spotlight Three Fire Supply, Bedford’s destination for outdoor adventure!

Whether you are a backpacker, RVer, camper, hiker, or someone who simply loves spending time outdoors, Three Fire Supply has the gear and supplies you need to make your next adventure a success. From lanterns and compasses to camping chairs and outdoor essentials, you will find a great selection right here in Bedford.

One unique feature of Three Fire Supply is their consignment area, helping to keep the outdoors affordable by giving quality gear a second life while helping fellow outdoor enthusiasts save money.

Need hunting or fishing licenses? Three Fire Supply is also a convenient location for Department of Natural Resources tags and licenses.

And here’s some exciting news! Three Fire Supply is now offering kayak rentals for just $35 per day, including a life jacket and oar. Whether you’re planning a relaxing day on the water at Lake of Three Fires or exploring another local waterway, this is a fantastic way to enjoy the outdoors without the expense of owning your own kayak.

When asked why she opened the business, owner Bobbi shared, “I loved the building, I love camping, and I love the small-town lifestyle.” We love seeing entrepreneurs invest in Bedford while sharing their passions with our community.

June is packed with opportunities to get involved, have fun, and make memories in Bedford!

From Vacation Bible School and the Farmers Market to Summer Reading, Night Golf, community gatherings, and a Blood Drive, there is something happening all month long. And of course, we wrap up the month with one of Bedford’s favorite traditions—BedfordFest on June 27! Enjoy vendors, games, food trucks, shopping, and family fun on our beautiful brick streets from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
