The reenactors are ready for a great weekend and look forward to seeing you all visit Old Bedford Village this weekend!

Civil War Living History takes the forefront this weekend with camp displays and battles both days at 1:00.

And our Village represents the homefront at this time in our history. As the soldiers were fighting the war, our Villagers were keeping day to day life going for those left behind. Stop by to visit our blacksmith, potter, tinsmith, broom maker, candlemaker, and basket weaver as you are transported to the 1860s this weekend at Old Bedford Village!

And don’t forget to stop by our gift shop to take home a unique, handcrafted souvenir of your trip to the past!

It’s all waiting for you this weekend at Old Bedford Village!

Open from 9 - 5 with last guests admitted at 4.
$12 adults, $11 seniors 65+, $7 ages 6-17, and free for kids 5 & under!

While this isn’t how we wanted the season to start, the rain has led to slippery ramps, and not the best conditions for our guests and staff. We will be closing at 1:30, and looking forward to sunnier days ahead!

Thanks to these wonderful folks who are our first visitors of the season! They traveled here from Butler, PA and they didn't let the rain stop them from enjoying the Village!

We are so excited to see everyone this weekend as we officially open for the 2026 season - Our 50th year bringing Bedford’s frontier history to life for Bedford and our surrounding communities!

It’s a great weekend to pick up a season pass so you can visit often throughout the year!

Our regular hours, Thursday - Sunday, 9 AM - 5 PM (last guests admitted at 4 PM) resume on May 23 and continue through the end of October!

$12 for adults
$11 for seniors Aged 65+
$7 for children ages 6-17
Children 5 & under are free!

Sending a big thank you to Matt and everyone at the MEC on Sunnyside Road plant in Bedford. They cut all the tin for us to use for our hands on program. With their help we are able to continue offering tin piercing as one of our craft activities. Matt and the guys are the best!
