If you drive by my home you will no longer see my Little Free Library that is a replica of the Old Bedford School in the front yard. The home is for sale and the library has been donated to the authentic, original Old Bedford School on Bedford Road.

The City of Bedford is going to use the library in a small children’s park that will be constructed on the front lawn of the school. This is a musical park made especially for special needs children. I am so excited that the little library will live on someday on the front lawn of the authentic Old Bedford School! I’ll let you know when the park is open.

A huge thanks to the neighbors who have donated dozens of books! You kept the library thriving while I was in rehab with a broken leg, proving this is truly a community library.

The LFL is open once again! Books for children are running low. Book donations are welcome!

I’ve temporarily closed the Little Free Library due to COVID-19. I will reorganize the books and clean them with disinfectant before they are placed back in the library. If you would like to donate books please put them on my front porch. Thanks for understanding this temporary change. Stay home, stay safe and wash your hands!

I was so delighted when my friend Kathy Eschliman Oliphant and her beautiful dog Shiloh donated a huge sack of kid’s and teen books for my Halloween book give-away! THANK YOU, KATHY AND SHILOH!

This is a special shout out for Rhonda and Randy Hicks who donated lots of new books and candy for our annual Halloween Book Bash. We give away lots of candy and several hundred free books to Trick or Treaters!

I was so happy to find this precious girl and her nana reading books and enjoying the butterfly bench! They also painted a rock to hide inside the library. She melted my heart!

This is a special request for book donations for kids and teens. Halloween is a big event for Aunt Jellybean’s Little Free Library. My friend Nurse Nancy from Uganda brings her whole family and we have a blast giving out candy AND books to every child and teen. They pick out their own book and they love it. It’s grown every year and last year we gave away at least 200 books!

We need books to give away! I’m posting our request now in early September so you’ll have time to clean out your library and donate! Haha! Please leave the books on the table beside our front door at 880 Russell Lane, Bedford TX 76022. And THANK YOU for helping us make Halloween a readers’s holiday!
