From team gear to a little friendly rivalry, our staff brought the spirit today! ❤️ We may cheer for different teams, but at Oakwood, we’re all on the same team! 🙌🏾🏈

💛 50 Acts of Kindness Challenge — COMPLETE! 💛

For the month of August, we challenged our residents to complete 50 random acts of kindness… and they did it! 🎉

Kindness doesn’t have to be something big. Sometimes it’s helping a friend with their Bingo card, sharing a snack, offering a helping hand, or simply sharing a few encouraging words. Each small act can make someone’s day a little brighter. 💕

Our residents proved that little acts of kindness can make a BIG difference—and for completing all 50 acts of kindness, they earned a PIZZA PARTY! 🍕🎉 They definitely deserved a celebration!

We loved watching kindness spread throughout Oakwood this month. 💛

50 acts of kindness accomplished! ✅ Now the question is… what challenge will September bring? 👀🍂

💛 Saturday Fun with Wonderful Volunteers! 💛
We are so thankful for two wonderful volunteers, Cindy and Shireal, who spent their Saturday leading activities and bringing smiles to our residents! 🥰
Volunteers play such an important role at Oakwood. Whether it’s helping with activities, sharing a special talent, playing games, visiting, or simply spending time with our residents, their time and kindness make a difference. ❤️
