Oakwood had a busy Thursday celebrating and showing appreciation for our amazing CNA’s!

Today, we were blessed by several community partners who stopped by to recognize the hard work and dedication of our CNA team. Courtney from Enhabit shared fun neon cups filled with goodies. Vickie, from Heartland Hospice, delivered delicious cupcakes that were enjoyed by all. And although we weren’t able to capture a photo, First Care at Home brought refreshing cold drinks and tasty snacks to help keep everyone energized throughout the day.

As if that wasn’t enough, the appreciation continued! The Oakwood family—both residents and staff—gifted our CNA’s vibrant, colorful CNA logo shirts as a token of gratitude for the compassionate care they provide each day.

It may sound like a lot of goodies, but what truly made today special was the opportunity to recognize the incredible individuals who make a difference in the lives of our residents every single day.

We have thoroughly enjoyed showering our CNA’s with appreciation, laughter, fun, and gifts throughout the week. Thank you for your hard work, dedication, compassion, and commitment. We appreciate each and every one of you more than words can express! 💙🎉👏

There’s something truly special about the bond between our residents and CNAs at Oakwood. During CNA Week, our residents wanted to show just how much they appreciate the hardworking caregivers who brighten their days, lend a helping hand, and become like family.

With the help of our Activities Department, residents put together a special Ice Cream Bar for our CNAs as a sweet way to say “thank you.” From smiles and laughter to shared stories and treats, it was a wonderful reminder of the relationships that make Oakwood such a special place.

CNAs do so much more than provide care—they offer comfort, companionship, encouragement, and kindness every single day. Our residents see the dedication and love our CNAs bring to their work, and they wanted them to know just how much they are appreciated.

Thank you to all of our amazing CNAs for the difference you make in the lives of our residents. We are grateful for you today and every day. Happy CNA Week! ❤️🍦

What a wonderful experience connecting with incredible professionals at the senior networking event today! 🤝 There's something truly special about being in a room full of experienced, passionate individuals who bring so much wisdom and energy to every conversation.

At Oakwood we believe that meaningful connections are the foundation of growth — both personally and professionally. Events like these remind us why community and collaboration matter so much. Every handshake, every story shared, and every new connection made is an opportunity to learn and inspire one another.

Our amazing MDS Coordinators hosted a delicious Taco Bar today to show appreciation for our fabulous CNAs. Their hard work, compassion, and dedication make a difference in the lives of our residents every single day.

Today, our Therapy (Rehab) Team treated our CNAs to a fun and interactive “Sweet Spin the Wheel” giveaway! The creativity, attention to detail, and thoughtful presentation put together by our Director of Rehab made today’s event extra special.

Our CNAs absolutely loved it, and the smiles, laughter, and excitement were contagious! Thank you to our Therapy (Rehab) Team for helping us recognize and celebrate the dedicated caregivers who make a difference every day.
