If you have a lawn sign, please don't put it in the trash. We are going to arrange to collect them. Mothers Out Front is organizing a collection process, and I want to make sure the signs do not create any trash. Let's save the signs!

I am humbled by the confidence the voters of Bedford have place in me in re-electing me to the School Committee. I am truly honored to have the opportunity to continue working to serve the youth of our great town. I am also delighted to welcome Sheila Mehta-Green to the School Committee. Thank you to all of you who supported me in so many ways with your lawns, your wisdom, your finances, your comments and questions, your letters, your social media, your sign holding, your finances, your votes, and (for a few) your hugs. And, thank you Bedford! I promise to work to the best of my ability in the interests of all the students in Bedford.

My fellow citizens of Bedford, experience matters. The choices we make in our election this Saturday are crucial for our schools and our students. We need experienced leadership to help them recover from the interrupted learning and social emotional effects of the last two years of the pandemic. I have spent the last three years serving as one of your elected Bedford School Committee members. I have taken the time to learn about and understand the issues facing all four Bedford schools. I have seen, firsthand, the toll the past two years have taken on our students, our schools, our parents, our educators, and our community. I have worked tirelessly to support all of these stakeholders, and I am proud of what we have accomplished during my time on the School Committee. However, there is much more work to do: supporting social emotional learning needs; adjusting to address pandemic-related learning gaps; significantly boosting our attention to diversity, equity and inclusion; and continuing the improvement of our district in many other ways.

Now more than ever, Bedford needs solid, collaborative leadership that listens and respects multiple points of view, wrestles with tough issues in a civil and constructive manner, and works transparently and thoughtfully. Because of my experience, I am the candidate who will be able to seamlessly continue my work with my fellow School Committee members, the District Leadership Team, and the Capital Expenditures Committee to guide our school community forward without interruption in these crucial times.
