Bedford Park District

Bedford Park District Bedford Park District maintains approximately 34 acres of parks, including 14 acres of property leased from Commonwealth Edison.

Community Park is the largest park and is home to the District's Administrative Office, Swanson Gymnasium, Lily Pad Splash Park, Ballfields, and Picnic Pavilion.

Thursday was another wonderful day in the Arenal region!
We had the opportunity to visit a local, family-owned farm and gain a deeper appreciation for everyday life in Costa Rica. During the tour, we learned about a wide variety of organically grown plants and even got to see firsthand how sugar cane is produced.
One of the highlights was a hands-on cooking class, followed by a delicious, home-cooked lunch — such a special experience!
We spent the rest of the day soaking in the beauty of the area and enjoying our gorgeous resort.
