As spring nights warm and summer approaches, this time of year marks get-togethers, parties, and celebrations. BPD wants to remind you that these events and milestones can lead to underage drinking, drug use, and medical emergencies. Let’s help keep our teens and community safe together for all. Poor choices or irresponsible decisions by both teens and adults can lead to criminal charges or worse, tragic outcomes.

It is also imperative that we empower those who attend parties or host them, to step up in a time of need. They must understand the importance of helping someone who is highly intoxicated or experiencing an emergency and get them prompt medical attention.

🚨Stay tuned to hear from our School Resource Officers who will share important information on this serious topic. Their insights and guidance can help keep our students, families, and community stay informed and safe.

Topics will include:
- Good Samaritan Law
- Leandras Law
- Other alcohol related violations and criminal charges.

Former Chief Menzel and his team will climb 104 stories inside One World Trade Center, symbolically retracing the path firefighters took on September 11, 2001. Funds raised support programs that provide mortgage-free homes to fallen first responders and Gold Star families with young
children, and build smart homes for catastrophically injured veterans and first responders, in addition to working to eradicate veteran homelessness.

Keep up the great work Chris! πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ
