Town of Bedford Veterans Advisory Committee Town of Bedford Veterans Advisory Committee The Committee serves as Bedford’s central point of contact in coordinating support for veterans.

The Veterans Advisory Committee was established by the Town Board to raise awareness of and support for military veterans and their families. All are welcome to attend the Committee’s meetings, which are held the last Monday of each month. Please contact the Committee by email at [email protected] to help the Committee identify veterans and families of veterans in the Bedford community or if you need assistance.

Today we remember our brothers and sisters in arms who never made it home.

Memorial Day is not about those who served. It is about those who gave everything in service to this nation and the freedoms we enjoy every day. We honor the sacrifice of the fallen, remember the families who carry that loss, and ensure their legacy is never forgotten.

Today isn’t about parades or speeches - it’s about you. The ones who raised your hand, stood the watch, and carried the weight when duty called. Whether you served in peace or in war, abroad or here at home - you’re part of a brotherhood and sisterhood that never fades.
