Movies on the Move is coming to the courthouse!

Come visit RCPRA on the Raleigh County Courthouse Lawn on September 26th at 6:30 PM for a FREE showing of the classic Halloween movie, Hocus Pocus!
The whole family will enjoy this evening under the stars, and to add to the magic we are hosting a broom decorating contest! We will see you there!

The Raleigh County Parks and Recreation Authority (RCPRA) is soliciting Statements of Proposals (SOPs) from qualified architectural and engineering firms for professional services regarding two upcoming projects.

The first project is for general improvements for Fitzpatrick Park, including upgrades to the softball field lighting and ADA accessible parking and access.
The second project regards the proposed Visitors Center located in Lake Stephens as well as general site improvements intending to support tourism and outdoor recreation within the county.

Practical Magic is this Friday, August 28th at Dry Hill-Prosperity Park!

Bring your blankets, lawn chairs, and your favorite picnic for an enchanting evening featuring a Witch Hat Contest, handcrafted mocktails from the Owens Sisters' Apothecary, movie concessions, including popcorn, and an outdoor showing of Practical Magic at dusk.

The Witch Hat Contest winner will receive two tickets to see Practical Magic 2 at the Marquee on September 11. In the event of rain, the magic will move indoors at the Dry Hill Park building.

Fall Coed Softball League registration is officially open for Fitzpatrick Park!

Sign up now to secure your spot for the upcoming season before it's too late! It's $400 per team, and the games begin in September and wrap up by the end of October. Ready, set, register!
