began providing services to the seniors of Raleigh county in October of 1977. We have expanded from being a congregate and home delivered meals provider for one county to providing social, personal care and support services in Raleigh, Fayette and Mercer counties in southern West Virginia.

Last month we received a gift from our seniors and staff that honored Mr. Tanner and his departed wife. A stone bench with their names now resides in front of our building near our flag pole. We thank the seniors and staff for their gift and encourage everyone to stop by and view the bench.

Our Older American's Month festivities got a BIG boost today when our game show, "Who Wants to be a Healthy Senior", 'aired' live at the Raleigh County Senior Center! Our host and assistant conducted a wild show with multiple rounds of contestants and a final 'Grand Prize' winner!

Over the last several weeks we have been visited by several of our current delegates and senators in the WV Legislature. One thing about seniors, they aren't afraid to use their voice and ask questions, and those questions can be very intense. It's one thing to use your voice to ask questions, it's another to do it when it matters. Use your "voice" tomorrow and vote!
