Check out this example teaching Matrix from Southern Boone County High School in Southern Boone School District. Here is a description of how it was developed:

"The items on the post-it notes are from the College and Career Readiness Wheel. As a faculty, we adopted the terms that made the poster (Some are used more than once because we felt they met multiple areas of the district's Safe, Respectful, and Responsible mantra.) Not all the terms from the CCR Wheel are used. From the terms we selected, we then looked at the definitions and examples given. We modified some of the examples and made them fit our purposes."

October is the perfect time to take the TFI and the School Climate Survey in PBIS Assessment 🍎! Schools that take these surveys in October can then:
1) Meet and hash out their results into an action plan in November
2) Use that action plan in January to check their progress!
3) Take these surveys again in May to compare progress over the year! 😀😃
