Add a bit of sparkle to your own neighborhood! Whether it’s hosting a block party or concert in the park, installing a welcome sign, or adding trees to public areas, the city’s Neighborhood Matching Grant program can help make it happen!

These grants provide up to $3,500 for community-building events and improvement projects. The city provides dollar-for-dollar matching funds for volunteer time, donated materials, or cash.

Anyone can present an idea at their Neighborhood Association Committee (NAC) meeting. If approved, the NAC submits the application.

Downtown is growing, and Millikan Way is setting the stage! Planning for the Millikan Way Extension project is nearing its end. The city’s project team is developing a plan for building a new street between Watson Avenue and Lombard Avenue.

You are invited to share your thoughts on the Staff Recommended Plan online or attend an upcoming open house at City Hall in Council Chambers on either Thursday, May 16 from 5 - 7 PM or Friday, May 17 from 8 - 10 AM to learn more about the project and proposed changes coming to your neighborhood.
