It’s with very heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our Vice President Jospeh L McCloskey Sr.

As we who all loved him he is our Joe Mac.

Joe has been a member of the Summerhill TWP VFC for 50 years this year, he also served as our vice president for 46 years.

Joe was the friendly face you saw at our monthly sub sales collect the money, at our jubilees playing for the Button Box, and at all the raffles supporting his fire co. He did so much behind the scenes to help keep the fire co operational throughout all the years.

He will be greatly missed by us all, and with his passing he has left a whole in our hearts.

RIP Joe Mac, we love you and we got it from here.

A huge thank you to Barclay electric for the generous water donation. With the summer months coming it’s very essential for the firemen to keep hydrated on an incident.

We will equip our units with the water so it’s always on hand at a scene.

Today is International Firefighters' Day.

This day honors the courage, dedication, and sacrifices firefighters make worldwide to protect lives and property, often involving tributes to fallen firefighters and awareness campaigns regarding fire safety.

The 5 fire departments in the Forest Hills School District are working with the American Red Cross and the school district to get smoke alarms installed in homes in the area.

If you need a smoke alarm, please call the Red Cross at the phone number or scan the QR Code birh listed on the flyer attached, and they will make arrangement with you for your detectors and installation setup.

Spring “NUG” raffle is April 11th. Doors open at 4:30 pm raffle starts at 5:30 pm.

Tickets are $20 a person. Everyone needs a ticket to attend.
