Today, our Beavercreek AFJROTC Cadets had the opportunity to present The Colors at the 9th Annual Rafi's Amigos Golf Outing at the Beavercreek Golf Club. It was another fantastic year dedicated to raising funds for an exclusive one-day Air Camp experience for AFJROTC Cadets from Beavercreek, Bellbrook, and Fairborn High Schools.

A very special thanks to the ongoing generosity of Rafi Rodriguez and our incredible community and business leaders, our Cadets have an amazing opportunity ahead! They’ll dive into hands-on STEM and aviation experiences that fuel passion for aerospace and leadership!

We’re deeply grateful to all the sponsors, golfers, volunteers, and our booster club for the very nice Yeti basket that raised a lot of money! Your commitment and support invests in the next generation of leaders and makes a lasting impact on our mission of "developing citizens of character."

Today, our cadets had the distinct privilege of presenting the Colors during the City of Beavercreek's Memorial Day service. Participating in this ceremony was a profound way for our young leaders to remember the sacrifices of our nation's heroes and understand the weight of the freedoms we enjoy today.

Thank you to the City of Beavercreek for inviting us to be a part of this beautiful remembrance.

Our cadets had the distinct pleasure of presenting the Colors at today’s Beavercreek High School 2026 Graduation Ceremony, held at the Wright State University Nutter Center.

Led by Cadet Jackson Reck as the American Flag Bearer, the exceptional detail also included Cadet Rylan Watson carrying the Ohio State Flag and Cadet Everett Mason bearing the U.S. Air Force Flag. Completing the disciplined formation, Cadets Harper Vega and Trevianna Friedmann served flawlessly as Rifle Guards. 🇺🇸

We extend our highest praise to these cadets for their outstanding performance, and offer a final, heartfelt congratulations to our senior cadets and the entire BHS Class of 2026—best of luck in all your future endeavors! 👨‍🎓 🎓 👩‍🎓 🎓

Our Beavercreek AFJROTC was out and about yesterday placing 160 American flags around the Beavercreek community. Our unit has partnered with the Greene Optimist Club the past 6 years spreading patriotism with their Avenue of Flags program. 🇺🇸

The Avenue of Flags is the club’s primary fundraiser serving Beavercreek, Fairborn, and Xenia. With this program, volunteers place American flags on 10’ poles near the curb of subscribing local residences and businesses during various holidays. Our cadets help the club handle the delivery, installation, removal, and off-season storage. Proceeds from the subscriptions directly support youth programs, local charities, and scholarships in Greene County. Great job cadets!

Our Beavercreek AFJROTC cadets served with the Greene Optimists Club on Saturday at the Growing Up Greene Early Literacy Open House at the Be Hope Church. Cadets worked with young children making crafts, doing story times, manning bounce houses, and fun games geared towards families with little ones, for a fun-filled morning! Great job cadets!

Growing Up Greene is the Greene County Public Library’s promise to every parent, teacher, and stakeholder: to take every opportunity to spark children’s imaginations, challenge them to learn about and experience new things, and inspire them to pursue their dreams.

A busy Saturday for our cadets today! To start things off bright and early, the cadets met up at Beavercreek Dunkin’ for “Sippin’ with Sarge!” Some donuts, coffee, and good conversation were the theme along with introducing Sarge to ChatGPT! 😂 We then headed to SVG Motors as a large group of our cadets prepared over 700 American flags for this year’s Greene Optimists Club’s Avenue of Flags program! We inspected and replaced old flags no longer fit for display and added nearly a 100 new flags and poles to the club’s inventory. It was a lot of work but we got the job done! 🇺🇸 The first AoF placement is for Memorial Day and we are looking for parent volunteers with trucks to help us again this year. Ask your cadets for the dates! Thank you!

Huge shoutout to the Bombers Drill Team for an absolutely incredible performance at the National High School Drill Team Championships in Daytona Beach, Florida! 🌴

Competing against 150 schools and over 1,500 JROTC Cadets in the largest competition in the country, our teams didn't just show up—they shined under the bright lights.

From cadets experiencing their first commercial flights to laughing around the beach bonfire and exploring Universal Studios, we built bonds and made memories that will last a lifetime. It wasn't just a competition—it was the trip of a century! ✈️ 🎢

To our parent chaperones, equipment drivers, and tireless supporters—THANK YOU! You are the engine that makes this success possible. Seeing that massive sea of orange and black in the stands was unforgettable. Our fans are officially the best in the world—you basically turned Daytona Beach into "Beavercreek South" for the weekend!

🥇Here’s a re-cap of the results on the drill floor:

The B-2 squad is officially #1 in the nation as they were crowned the Overall Division 2 Unarmed Champions! They took the top spot by outclassing a field of 16 elite teams. Special thanks to Coach Juan for your help and support from down south.

• 5th Place: Regulation

Our B-1 squad turned heads and proved they belong among the elite with a top-five finish in a fierce field of 18 teams.

You know the saying, “Early bird gets the worm.” Well this morning, it was “Early cadet gets to work!” Twenty of our cadets came in early today to assist BHS leadership in setting up the auxiliary gym for AP testing today. Cadets set up 80 tables, 32 desks, and nearly 200 chairs! Did I mention, they also ate donuts! 🍩 😋
