Also please be aware that although we strive to provide timely information to keep our community safe, we are also experiencing difficulties from storm damage and radio communications limitations, so please share that you have multiple ways of receiving weather alerts and communicating.

Coming up this Monday, March 9, the Knowles Community Center (Broadway & Main) will be hosting crisis management counseling.
First Responders are invited to attend at 3 PM
Then at 6PM, it will be open to all communities/individuals that have been impacted by the February wildfires.
Drinks and refreshments will be provided.

Attached are applications for victims of the Ranger Road Fire.
One application is for agricultural losses and the other is for homeowners.
The Ashland Community Foundation will take these applications until May 1, 2026.
This application applies to any individuals incurring Ranger Road Fire losses, regardless of county.

If anyone would like to donate to the “Ranger Road Fire Relief Fund”, checks can be sent to
Ashland Community Foundation with a memo “fire relief”
P.O. Box 276, Ashland, KS 67831.
100% of funds donated will be distributed to fire victims in all five counties.

DR assistance available to help with building removal/personal item recovery from fires

There are multiple organizations that have stepped up to aid recent Oklahoma wildfire victims:

▶️ Oklahoma Cattlemen's Association Foundation has established a Fire Relief Fund to support cattle producers impacted by the recent wildfires in Northwest Oklahoma. Find more information and donate at okcattlemen.org.

▶️ Oklahoma Farm Bureau Foundation for Agriculture is also collecting donations to help recovery efforts for rural Oklahomans affected by the wildfires. Find more information and donate at okfarmbureau.org

▶️ Beaver County OK Conservation District is coordinating donations of hay for wildfire relief. Hay can be dropped off at the Hamilton Farm, west of Knowles, OK on Highway 64.

▶️ Laverne Fire Department is accepting donations of non-perishables food, feed, hay, fencing, and monetary donations and is in contact with volunteer fire departments throughout the area.

‼️ Oklahoma Department of Agriculture, Food, and Forestry reminds the public to use caution before bringing hay to northwest Oklahoma to prevent the spread of invasive fire ants. Find out if your county is under quarantine for fire ants on the USDA website https://loom.ly/jAg-Tv8
