$18 million committed to Beaver County’s recovery ❤️
There is still a long road ahead, but this is an important step forward for our community.
The U.S. Forest Service and the State of Utah have announced a joint **$18 million commitment** to help restore areas impacted by the Cottonwood Fire, with each contributing $9 million toward landscape recovery efforts.
Restoration work is expected to begin this season as Beaver County continues to recover from the nearly 97,500-acre fire.
After everything our community has faced—from fire to flooding—we are incredibly grateful to see this level of support and collaboration behind Beaver County.
We also know recovery is about more than restoring the landscape. It’s about supporting the people, businesses, families, ranchers, and communities who call this place home.
There is more work ahead, but we’re moving forward. Together. ❤️
