Additional thrills include a magic number and diverse games. Doors open 5:30 PM at Vanport Fire Department, early birds commence 7 PM sharp. If your a Vanport resident. Or live with in a few miles of the Vanport Volunteer Fire Department our fire department is taking applications. If you are new to our area or have ever thought about joining now is the time. Why not join our established experienced department. We have an extensive tradition of over 85 years of protecting our community and our surrounding communities. All training will be paid for on the fire side. And on the social side we have many events that you could help with. Fall festival/ night at the races/weekly bingo when it starts up. Our annual chili Cookoff. We will welcome you and help you to become part of our great brotherhood. Please message me or any of our firefighters or members. Or stop by our department on any Monday night between 6-6:30. If you are interested in the ladies auxiliary you are more than welcome to. They have a long and cherished tradition also at our department. And they would also welcome new members. Please share this and like I said we welcome you.
