🚒 Extrication Training Recap 🚒

Monday night our department conducted hands-on extrication training to sharpen the skills we rely on during some of the most challenging calls—vehicle accidents. Training like this ensures we’re always ready to respond quickly, safely, and effectively when our community needs us most.

As we wrapped up, one reminder stood out: so many of the injuries we see on real calls are preventable.

Please drive safely, avoid distractions, and always wear your seatbelt.

Just in time for Labor Day weekend! 🎉
Stage 2 Fire Restrictions will be reduced to Stage 1 beginning 12:01 a.m. on August 28, 2025. Federally managed lands in Utah, including the U.S. Forest Service, National Park Service, and Bureau of Land Management, will also return to Stage 1 Fire Restrictions.

BLM, USFS, & NPS managed lands in Beaver, Garfield, Iron, Kane, and Washington counties will enter Stage 1 Fire Restrictions beginning at 12:01 a.m. on Friday, August 29, 2025.

Stage 1 restrictions include:
1️⃣ No open fires except in improved campgrounds/day-use sites, or in permanent fire pits at private homes with running water.
2️⃣ No smoking, except inside a vehicle, building, developed recreation site, or on paved/vegetation-free areas.
3️⃣ No cutting, welding, or grinding metal in dry vegetation.
4️⃣ Engines (motorcycles, chainsaws, ATVs, etc.) must have working spark arrestors.
5️⃣ No fireworks, tracer ammo, exploding targets, or pyrotechnics.

Hello Beaver! Beaver Fire District #1 wants to remind everyone to be safe when using fireworks. Please follow all local regulations to prevent accidents. Lets have a fun and safe celebration!
