Today, the Chippewa Township Fire Department completed the recertification process for our Quick Response Service (QRS) apparatus. We are proud to announce that Engine 22, Rescue 22, and Squad 22 have successfully passed all requirements and are now recertified through 2029.

This achievement reflects our department’s ongoing commitment to providing the highest level of emergency medical care and service to the residents and visitors of Chippewa Township.

Thank you to EMS Captain Dixie Price for spearheading this process and dedicating time to ensuring all requirements were met for today’s recertification. Her commitment to our EMS program were instrumental in making this accomplishment possible.

Earlier today, Chippewa Township Fire Department had the honor of participating in the send-off for the Blackhawk High School Softball Team as they made their way to Penn State for the PIAA State Championship Game. 🥎🚒

The Chippewa Township Fire Department would like to congratulate Lieutenant Royce Deyber, Lieutenant Ryan Soisson, and Firefighter Justin Gantz on successfully completing and obtaining their Pro-Board Firefighter II certifications.

The Firefighter II certification builds upon the knowledge and skills learned in Firefighter I, preparing firefighters to operate at a higher level through advanced fireground operations, rescue techniques, fire prevention activities, and leadership responsibilities.

This achievement reflects their dedication, hard work, and commitment to serving the residents of Chippewa Township and surrounding communities. We are proud of their accomplishment and grateful for their continued commitment to professional development and excellence in the fire service.

This morning at approximately 3:45 AM, the Chippewa Township Fire Department, as part of the Beaver County Strike Team, was requested to assist with a working residential structure fire in the City of Aliquippa.

Our members responded to provide manpower alongside numerous departments from across Beaver County, working together to bring the incident under control. Units returned back to service around 7:00 am.

We remain committed to serving not only our township, but also supporting fellow departments throughout Beaver County when called upon.
