HIRING: PART TIME HIGHWAY MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR

Town of Beaver Dam

Schedule and perform standard maintenance to town roads and right of ways, town equipment and buildings, and other duties related. Must be available for emergencies. This is a part time position that can be schedule to suit the needs of the applicant seasonally.

Seasonal snow plowing hours are required. Must possess or be able to obtain a CDL prior to start date and able to pass a drug test.

The Town of Beaver Dam is hiring, seasonal, part time, snow plow drivers. Snow plowing typically begins at 4:00am.

Today, in your mail, you should receive a postcard from the Town of Beaver Dam with a little bit of information on our upcoming referendum question. This question will be on the August 9 ballot. We are holding an open forum next Tuesday, July 26th to talk about the referendum. why the Town needs it, and to answer any questions you may have. We hope to see you there!

The last scheduled absentee voting hours for the Spring Election (4/5/2022) are tonight, Wednesday 3/30, 6-8PM.

You may also return your completed absentee ballot to the clerk tonight if you are not mailing it. We no longer use a dropbox so there will be no dropbox available at any time. If you are not mailing your absentee, if must be handed directly to the clerk, we can no longer accept absentees any other way. You can only bring YOUR OWN absentee, you may not drop off anyone else's or have someone else bring yours.

If you still want to absentee vote after today, you need to schedule a time with the clerk by calling 920-887-0791 ext. 13.

There will NOT be tax collection at the Town Hall this Saturday, January 8th. Tax collection will resume as normal Thursday, January 13 from 5PM-8PM.

You are always welcome to mail your check or put it in the drop box next to the front door. If you would like a receipt you must include a self addressed and stamped envelope.

We do not accept cash.

It is with great sadness that we share that our chairman, Jeff Schmitt, passed away last week. We are grateful for the decades that he served the Town of Beaver Dam. He will be so greatly missed.

Jeffrey Carl Schmitt, 58, of Beaver Dam passed away in the loving arms of his wife Patti at UW-Hospital in Madison, surrounded by his children Derek, Devin, Kelan, and Dillon and their loved ones on Wednesday, September 29th, 2021, at 1146pm. Jeff follows his father Carl to heaven 10 months
