Drove around the city yesterday and blessed people that were outside working on their yards and mowing grass with watermelons (donated by Surviving Parents of Southeast Texas).

This small gesture only took 30 minutes but made a lot of people happy.

Also, I’m sure TONS of people would have loved to be gifted watermelons but hey….

H-E-B running some good deals y’all 😇

P.S. I didn’t bring any home for myself. Maybe next time 😂

Attended Beaumont United High School’s Superintendent Meet & Greet today!

We brought a HUGE bag of candy for everyone to enjoy. 🍬

At one point, someone asked, “Do y’all have any more Snickers bars?”

Well… let’s just say I take my job very seriously. 😎🍫

Our Beaumont Police family is rallying around Officer Felipe Garcia and his son, Jesus, who was recently diagnosed with leukemia and is currently receiving treatment at Texas Children’s Hospital.

To help support the Garcia family during this difficult journey, we are having a drawing for a beautiful chainsaw-carved American flag, generously hand carved by a fellow officer and donated by the officers of 2nd Watch Patrol Shift. Courts Chainsaw Carving

Today, I had the opportunity to visit Harvest For Lost Souls Church’s SLAM Camp (Skills, Leadership, Athletics, and Mentorship).

I had a great time handing out fist bumps, joining in on a few workouts, and having some meaningful conversations with an amazing group of young people.

A special thank you to Pastor Kennedy and the entire church family for the invitation and warm welcome. Your dedication to investing in the next generation and leading by example is making a real difference in our community.

God bless you all, and I’m already looking forward to the next visit!

Ohhh and law enforcement arrested the other shooter from the Ogden shooting. 😎

This morning I noticed one of our flowers and just stopped for a moment to appreciate it. It reminded me how amazing the little things in life can be.
