They are a fun-loving, outdoorsy, and nerdy couple who have been married for over 15 years. Vaish is a doctor who made a switch from banking and tech to find a more meaningful career. Manik works in artificial intelligence at a leading tech company and contributes to the community as a board member of a natural history museum. Their personal lives are full of love and adventure - rescuing adorable dogs, exploring the world through cooking and travel, and spending time with extended family and friends. They live in Dallas, in a diverse, vibrant neighborhood near excellent schools. Their cozy household is happy and lively, with Junebug, a sweet older beagle mix, and Hemingway, a playful one-year-old cat.

When it comes to adoption, Vaish and Manik are deeply committed to creating a nurturing environment. They would be honored to be chosen as adoptive parents and will love and celebrate each child’s unique talents and cultural roots.

Introducing Sarah and Zach!

Sarah and Zach have been married for over 10 wonderful years. Sarah works part time as an administrative assistant, but enjoys reading, sewing, and crafting whenever she can. Zach works as a civil engineer, but looks forward to every moment he gets to spend with his amazing family. They have two beautiful boys who definitely keep things exciting and fresh each and every day.

Sarah and Zach love traveling, and have gone on many wonderful adventures with their kids. The four of them have traveled across the country and globe together, always looking for that next exciting thing . What a blessing it has been to explore the world and see all of the amazing people and places within it.

Sarah and Zach are so excited for the chance to bring another beautiful child into their family. They understand how incredibly difficult adoption must be for birth families, but would love to walk alongside them through the entire process. Being parents has been Zach and Sarah’s greatest blessing, and they would love to welcome another family and child into their own.

Introducing Shavonne and Wesley!

They are a warm, caring and fun couple from Washington State who’ve shared over nine joyful years together. Met in college, married and settled in their first home with their playful corgi, Nova, they’ve built a life rooted in love, laughter, adventure and communication. They are so excited and honored to adopt and cannot wait to share this life with a child, providing a safe, loving home full of opportunities.

Wesley is a high school math teacher and coach, mentoring students with heart—and a great sense of humor. Shavonne, a business manager and event planner, brings creativity and care to every detail. Both are deeply connected to children on a daily basis through work, volunteering, and friendships. They thrive on creativity and activity, whether creating art, hiking and walks, sports or exploring new places around the world.

Shavonne and Wesley welcome all levels of openness in adoption and would be honored to build a relationship with birth parents. They deeply respect the courage and love behind the decision to place a child for adoption and promise to provide a life full of warmth, support, opportunity and unconditional love.

Cradle of Life has been a part of the Southeast Texas Community for almost 40 years. Our administrators and staff were all born and raised here and are very active in this community. We are hurting. Hurting for the beautiful souls gone too soon and for their families that are navigating indescribable pain.

Introducing Caitlin and Jairo!

They will celebrate 8 years of marriage in July! Caitlin is a wedding designer. Her parents own a rental company, so she has been in the wedding industry her whole life. She works as their business manager and lead designer. Jairo works for the same company as the delivery manager. They love getting to work together every day.

Together as a family, they enjoy traveling every chance they get. They’ve been blessed with the opportunity to travel to many places worldwide. They also enjoy going to parks, exploring their hometown, enjoying game nights with the family, watching movies, or swimming at Mamu and Ta’s house.

They had always dreamed of starting a family and their hopes of adopting one day were among the big things they connected over while dating. They were so excited to find out they were expecting just a few months after their wedding. Unfortunately, they ended up losing this pregnancy along with two others. In 2019, they adopted their beautiful son, Mateo. They describe the moment they met their son as one of the greatest moments of their life.They are so excited to welcome another sweet baby into their family. They know any child would be welcomed with open arms, just like their son Mateo was.

They are a fun-loving, nerdy couple with a deep desire to grow their family through adoption. Their home is filled with love, laughter, and creativity, and they’re excited to share that with a child. As lifelong gamers and storytellers, they believe in the power of imagination, adventure, and learning through play. Above all, they are committed to providing unconditional love, support, and a safe, nurturing environment where a child can thrive.

They also have a sweet 9-year-old Doberman who is eager to become the best big sibling and snuggle buddy. Jonathan and Carl are excited to begin this journey and look forward to welcoming a little one who will complete their family.

Introducing Bethany and Daniel!

Bethany and Daniel will celebrate their fourteenth wedding anniversary this year. Daniel is a former art teacher who now works in HR for the oil and gas industry, and still tries to find free time for painting, ceramics and woodworking. Bethany is a former elementary school teacher who now stays home with their son, whom they adopted through Cradle of Life a few years ago. She enjoys fitness, being active in local parenting groups and home decor. They have a strong, respectful relationship built on communication and trust, and are looking to grow their family through adoption again. Their son can’t wait to be an amazing big brother!

Bethany and Daniel enjoy spending time as a family going to coffee shops, playing games, exercising outside, doing DIY home projects, baking/cooking, and cuddling with their cats. The visual and performing arts have been a big part of both their lives since childhood, and they try to take advantage of as much culture as possible. Elliot loves playing soccer and swimming, and has endless fun with neighborhood friends. As a family they enjoy traveling around the country to visit their large, supportive extended family. They are excited to welcome a new child into their nurturing family!

In today’s blog post we explain Voluntary Adoption Reunification. We discuss each triad members role in reunification as well as give resources for reunification to include agency involvement, the Central Adoption Registry and more!

Over the last decade many more adoptions are open with direct contact and amazing relationships formed over the love of a child and therefore formal reunification may no longer be needed in the future. However, this is a new trend and there are still many Birth Families and Adoptees who can utilize agency and other reunification services.

Introducing Jeff and Anna!

This couple met later in life but knew right away they wanted to spend the rest of their lives together. They met online, and Jeff moved to Arizona once they got married. Jeff works online from home as an IT Systems Administrator. Anna is a marriage and family therapist, a former elementary school teacher, and she is working on becoming a registered play therapist. Jeff and Anna are active in their church community, and Anna likes to volunteer in the nursery. Jeff and Anna like to go sight-seeing and work in their garden together. Jeff is very passionate about raising his baby goldfish and is very attentive to them. Anna loves all things crafts, reading mystery novels, and doing Hot Barre and Hot HIIT.

Jeff and Anna are looking forward to building a family through adoption. They both love children, especially their nieces and nephews, and are dreaming of a home filled with the laughter and joy that only children bring! Jeff and Anna prefer an open adoption and are willing to travel to make this possible. Jeff and Anna look forward to having a good relationship with birth parents. They understand what a difficult decision it is for parents to place their children for adoption and respect and value them for this. They would be honored to be chosen as adoptive parents and will love and cherish their child(ren).
