💕Big girl, bigger heart! 💕

Meet Rosalie -142989, a big, beautiful girl with an even bigger heart! Rosalie is the kind of dog who instantly makes herself at home and loves being around people. She is incredibly sweet, affectionate, and absolutely loves to cuddle. Her foster says she is one of the most loving dogs they’ve ever met, and she happily greets new people with plenty of love and attention.

Rosalie is also a fan of other dogs and is very gentle with her smaller foster sibling. There is also a cat in her foster home, which she is very curious about and will occasionally bark at. She has a playful side, especially in the mornings, but overall she is a very laid back girl who is happiest lounging around with her people. Because she is a big girl, her playful jumps can pack a little more punch than she realizes, so she’ll need a home with enough space for her to stretch out and be her goofy self. She’s also working on her leash skills and house training, and she has already made wonderful progress in foster care. In just a short time, she has become more relaxed, is eating better, has settled into a routine, and spends much more time resting instead of pacing.

Rosalie does experience some separation anxiety, so her future family will need to be patient and willing to continue working with her on feeling comfortable when she is away from her people. With consistency, reassurance, and time, she has already shown that she can make great progress. Rosalie may still have a few things to learn, but she is proving every day what a loving and special dog she is. If you’re looking for a big cuddlebug who will happily be your shadow, Rosalie could be your girl!

Margot -142670 has a rescue ready to welcome her, but before she can start her next chapter, she needs a foster home to crash in!

Margot is heartworm positive, and her rescue wants to begin her treatment before she makes the trip. This means we're looking for a foster who can open their home to her for potentially up to 2 months while she receives the care she needs.

And if you've met Margot, you already know what a fun girl she is! She has done wonderfully with other dogs, loved meeting new people during her Doggie Day Out, rides great in the car, and is always ready to play. But once playtime is over, Margot is perfectly happy to settle down and relax with you.

Meet Brooke -143106! Brooke was picked up by an officer after she was found wandering through a neighborhood. She was wearing a collar when she arrived, but unfortunately, no owner ever came forward to look for her. Brooke can be a little slow to warm up to new people, so she would benefit from a calm environment where she can take her time adjusting, building trust, and letting her personality shine. Brooke would do best as the only pet in the home, where she can focus on bonding with her family and getting all the patience, love, and attention she deserves. Meet Gregor -143039! This energized boy is ready to find a family who can keep up with his upbeat personality! Gregor hasn't had much training in his life, so he gets very excited when people are around and may jump up to say hello. With some patience, consistency, and positive reinforcement, he's sure to become a well-mannered companion. Gregor was previously paired with another equally active dog, and the two got along wonderfully, but after his kennelmate was adopted Gregor has not been able to be repaired. Because of his high energy level, he would thrive in a home with a yard where he can run, play, and burn off some of that enthusiasm. Meet Rory -141299! This sweet girl is hoping her next home will be her forever home. Rory was adopted from our shelter earlier this year, but through no fault of her own, she has found herself back with us after her family experienced life changes and was unable to take her back. Despite everything, Rory has remained the same easygoing, lovable dog she's always been. She would be the perfect fit for a calm, relaxed home where she can enjoy life's simple pleasures. Rory currently shares a kennel with a much more energetic dog, but she takes it all in stride and is perfectly content doing her own thing. When she's ready for a nap, she'll simply curl up and snooze without a care in the world. At around 35 pounds, Rory is fully grown and the perfect travel-sized companion—small enough to take along on adventures but big enough for plenty of cuddles. Tyrus was safely caught in a trap on Tram Road after multiple attempts to bring him to safety. Because of his past, he is still a very skittish dog who needs time to adjust to new people and surroundings. Slow movements, gentle encouragement, and plenty of patience are the keys to earning his trust. As Tyrus begins to feel safe, you'll have the opportunity to watch him blossom at his own pace. Due to his timid nature and need for clear boundaries, he would do best in a home without young children who may not understand when he needs space.
