On June 28, 2024, an investigator with the Beaumont Police Department conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle in the Greer’s parking lot.

1 Xanax pill, 3 Suboxone pills, and 0.5 grams of m**hamphetamine were recovered from the vehicle. One subject was arrested for possession of a controlled substance.

On January 31st, at approximately 10:00 p.m., officers with the Beaumont Police Department conducted a traffic stop on Highway 15/Perry Ave. Officers recovered a glass pipe with a substance believed to be m**hamphetamine inside of it.

On December 28, 2022 at approximately 10PM, Cheif Jeremy Mcswain conducted a traffic stop on Highway 98/ Beaumont Brooklyn Rd. Marijuana,Cocaine, Ecstasy, Adderall and a firearm were seized. Daniel Penate was arrested and charged with multiple charges. This investigation has been turned over to the Forrest /Perry County District Attorney’s Office.
