FREE Wrestling Fundamentals Clinic! 🦈

Looking for a fun, high-energy activity for your child? Come experience the excitement of wrestling in a positive and welcoming environment!

Robert Smalls Leadership Academy and The Beaufort Bull Sharks Wrestling Club are hosting a FREE Wrestling Fundamentals Clinic for beginners and returning wrestlers in our community.

Wrestling is one of the best sports for building confidence, discipline, athleticism, and resilience. Our clinic is designed to introduce kids to the fundamentals of wrestling through engaging drills, movement, games, and skill-building activities that keep the energy high and the fun going all evening long.

Whether your child has never stepped on a wrestling mat or already has experience, this event is all about learning, making new friends, staying active, and having a great time. No experience is required and there is absolutely no pressure—just come out, have fun, and discover why so many kids love the sport of wrestling!

Robert Smalls spent most of his early years enslaved in this house at 511 Prince Street in downtown .
When he returned to town after the Civil War, he was a U.S. Customs Officer, was elected to 5 terms as Congressman in the U.S. House of Representatives and he bought the house he was formerly enslaved in.

Four of our incredible 6th grade students have been selected for a special summer program through Northwestern University — an opportunity that could truly change the trajectory of their lives.

These babies have worked hard, represented excellence, and now have the chance to experience something bigger than they ever imagined.

The only thing standing in the way is funding. We only need $440 total to ensure all FOUR students can attend this life-changing experience.
