Remembering D-Day, the "Day of all Days!" Over 160,000 troops, 5000 ships, and 13,000 aircraft participated in the Normandy invasion of German occupied France on this day 82 years ago. A well conducted decoy and an accurate meteorologist contributed to a successful landing which would eventually bring an end to the N**i regime and liberate 200,000 Jewish prisoners from concentration camps. Over 9,000 allied troops were killed or wounded on June 6th, 1944, and despite the allied success, 2.7 million Jews were killed in the camps at the hands of the N**is. We remember those who fought that day and all those lost during the invasion and subsequent fighting, and those lost in the camps. Once again, we say “thank you” to the Greatest Generation.
