Recognizing Marine Corps Promotions at MCAS Beaufort 🎖️

This week, we had the privilege of recognizing Marines as they advanced in rank and took the next steps in their careers.

On September 1, Lance Cpl. Esther Alexandre was promoted to Lance Corporal, marking an important milestone in her Marine Corps journey.

On September 3, Sgt. Grant C. Lucas was promoted to Sergeant, taking on greater responsibility and leadership within the Corps.

While these are the Marines featured in this post, they are among several Marines recognized for their achievements this week. Please join us in congratulating Lance Cpl. Alexandre, Sgt. Lucas, and all the Marines on their well-deserved accomplishments.

Their hard work, dedication, and commitment to the Marine Corps continue to set an example.

Congratulations, Marines! Semper Fidelis! 🇺🇸

✈️ A Look Inside the F-35B: Senator Scott’s Staff Visits MCAS Beaufort

On August 20, Senator Tim Scott’s staffers visited Marine Corps Air Station Beaufort for an inside look at the Marine Corps’ F-35B Lightning II operations.

During the visit, the staff received a tour of VMFAT-501, got an up-close look at the jets, and learned more about the personal protective equipment (PPE) used by Marines and the pilots. They also received a presentation covering the F-35B’s capabilities, systems, and how the aircraft operates.

It was a great opportunity to showcase the Marines, technology, and mission behind the F-35B and highlight the important work being done at MCAS Beaufort. 🇺🇸🦅✈️

On Friday, August 21, Headquarters & Headquarters Squadron tee'd it up at Legends Golf Course on Parris Island for the annual Golf Tournament! 🏌️‍♂️🇺🇸

Beyond the competition and camaraderie, this tournament helped raise funds for the unit's Marine Corps Ball, supporting a special tradition that brings Marines, Sailors, and their families together.

🎓 Congratulations to the Marines of Cpl Course 7-26!

Today, these Marines earned their place in the next step of their leadership journey. Throughout the course, they put in the work by hitting the field for land navigation, serving on sword and guide details, tackling written tests, and building their knowledge through classroom instruction.

They also had the opportunity to learn from Marine Corps Master Gunnery Sgt Joseph Stanek, better known online as , who shared his experience and perspective with the class.

From the classroom to the field, Cpl Course 7-26 demonstrated the discipline, knowledge, and dedication expected of Marine NCOs.

Congratulations, Marines! Your hard work paid off. Now go lead. 🇺🇸🦅⚔️
