Today, fourth graders sharpened their ELA skills with Mr. Long! 🦅📖 Students worked hard to strengthen their Language Arts and reading comprehension skills by practicing strategies that help them become stronger readers, thinkers, and communicators. 🌟 From understanding texts to building vocabulary and making meaningful connections, these young learners are soaring to new heights every day! 🚀

Third grade is learning math with Ms. Rhodan and Mr. Ekiert at the end of a great day of fun, learning and excitement. At Bolden Elementary Middle school we have multiple teachers to help all the kids succeed and get better at their math.

Football season is here, and it's time to celebrate the kickoff of both the College Football and NFL seasons!

On Friday, September 11, students are invited to participate in Sports Color Day by wearing gear from their favorite team. Whether you're rocking:

🏈 MLB, NBA, NHL, MLS, or other sports team gear
🏈 Your favorite local team's colors

2026-27 Free & Reduced-Price Meals

Families living on military installations may be eligible for free or reduced-price school meals for the 2026-27 school year.

Applications opened July 1 and can be submitted anytime. Prior-year benefits continue for up to 30 operating school days; after that, a new application is required.

Join us in welcoming Matthew Kirby as the new DoWEA Americas Regional Director for Student Achievement. Congratulations, and welcome to the team!

DoWEA is pleased to welcome Matthew Kirby as the new Americas Regional Director for Student Achievement.

A U.S. Naval Academy graduate, former Navy Surface Warfare Officer, educator, and founder of Liberty Classical Schools, Kirby brings a wealth of leadership experience and a deep commitment to academic excellence. In his new role, he will support more than 20,000 military-connected students and nearly 4,000 employees across 50 schools spanning seven states, Cuba, and Puerto Rico.

“Kirby’s background in military service, entrepreneurial leadership, and passion for classical learning and school choice position him well to lead the Americas region at this important time,” said DoWEA Director Paul Craft. “He sees the clear connection between excellent schools, strong military communities, and the readiness of our warfighting force.”
