"Far-right Christian nationalist pastor Joel Webbon calls for the “full removal of feminism” and says democracy must be “taken away by force” so “masculine men” can decide what’s right!

In a deeply unhinged interview, highly controversial Texas pastor Joel Webbon openly admitted that Americans will never voluntarily give up democracy or the right to vote, so it must be seized through authoritarian power.

“I don’t think you’re going to get people to ‘vote away’ democracy … I think that it has to be taken. Virtuous, ambitious, masculine men have to climb the ladder of power and forcefully take away from the people that which is their detriment.”

He also demanded the “full removal of feminism,” railing against “suicidal empathy” and tolerance, as if the completely opposite preaching of Jesus in the Bible didn’t exist.

Webbon is obviously an extremist, but his views have a significant constituency in right-ewing politics in Texas and beyond.

Here it is, 2026, and he is somehow able to openly call for the violent end of democracy, strip women of their rights, and impose male-dominated authoritarian rule because they know they can’t win fair elections because of all those heathen liberals and feminists.

They’re not hiding anything anymore. A Trump-affiliated constituency wants to replace American democracy with a theocratic patriarchy enforced by force.

This is the real danger we’re facing from the far-right extremists Trump has empowered."
