Pool Update:

Our contractor is getting the run around with Pentair, our filter manufacturer. They still haven't shipped out the part that needs to be replaced, even though it's done being made and our contractor paid for rushed shipping when placing the order. We were hoping to be opened the weekends during August, but at this time we aren't sure how long it's going to take to get our parts.

We apologize for the disappointing news. We know this has been hard on our community and our employees worked hard to keep the facility clean and ready to open all summer long.

If you want to make a difference in our community, to have a voice to be heard and try to solve problems such as we have experienced this summer,

The Softball field has been treated with herbicide. The gates have been locked and signs will be posted. Do not enter or the barrier could be disrupted and cause the herbicide to fail.

Pool Update:

Kona Pools was able to get through to a supervisor from Pentair on getting a piece of our equipment specially made for our filter service. A huge shout out to Marisa, because without her determination, this piece probably would have never been approved for manufacturing again 🙌🏻

We have to wait for the part to be made, then Kona Pools has expedited its shipment. We currently do not have an ETA on when the part will be finished or shipped.

We are currently working on other methods to get the pool opened before the end of summer, using our insurance's suggestion of getting our pool water tested and keeping the chemicals at the correct levels. We should have another update by the end of this week or beginning of next!

Thank you Todd Dawson, Beatty local!

We are aware that the parking around the park has been an issue for a couple years since major rain events. We are also aware that the new concrete paths are exposed and difficult to get bikes, wheelchairs, etc up on. We have been working on finding locals to do this work since April.

Todd took some time out of his schedule this week to fix some of the areas, especially around access gates and other entry points for the upcoming July 4th event, hosted by our Volunteer Fire Department.He has provided great advice and contacts on how to continue to improve the conditions of these areas 😎

He also spent some time helping us get some weeds pushed into a ravine to help prevent fires being starting from fireworks. 🎆

Pool Update:

Unfortunate news, a part that needs to be replaced in the filter is being difficult in getting sourced. From what we've researched, it's a part that requires to be specially made and the vendor is giving our contractor a hard time, telling them that the whole filter needs to be purchased. They are working on this dilemma and will update us when they have an idea of what will happen.

POOL UPDATE

Stephanie Beecham, Jon Delee, and Jennifer Lewis voted during the meeting of 6.22.2026 to approve the proposal provided by Kona Pools for the service of the swimming pool filter (3:0). Maintenance is scheduled for this upcoming weekend.

Fingers crossed this solves our sand issue 🤞🏻Check back next week for updates! 🎆

-- Our lifeguards have been working to ensure the facility is clean and ready to open at a moments notice 👏🏻
-- Our Certified Pool Operator has been working on additional trainings for maintaining our facility and keeping our chemical levels stable and safe for our patrons 👏🏻
