Bike Walk Nebraska is looking for feedback from trail users and stakeholders across the state. 🚴 If you’d like to share how you use trails and your experiences, please take a few minutes to complete their survey by June 21, 2026. A direct link is in the comments section.

Bike Walk Nebraska is leading the first phase of a statewide study exploring the economic impact of trail use, the impact of trails on community health, and an analysis of trail funding sources across Nebraska.

We're seeking input from trail users, businesses that benefit from trail infrastructure, organizations that support public trails, and local government representatives who manage trail building and maintenance programs.

Your opinion shapes the future of trail infrastructure statewide.
Survey closes June 21st. Take the survey: https://www.bikewalknebraska.org/what-we-do/2026-economic-and-health-impact-of-trails-study.html

The City of Beatrice has been notified by Sta-Bilt Construction that armor coating work will take place on June 10 - 12, 2026.

Armor coating is a roadway preservation process that involves spraying a tacky asphalt material over the existing street surface and then applying a thin layer of aggregate on top to help protect and extend the life of the pavement.

📍 Project Areas:
• High Street from 8th Street to 16th Street
• 8th Street from Beaver Avenue to Green Avenue

🚫 No street parking will be allowed in these areas from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. during the project. Thank you for your patience and cooperation as we work to maintain and improve our streets.
