MAY IS MILITARY APPRECIATION MONTH

The Gage County Sheriff's Office would like to thank those on the sheriff's office who have served in the military because May is Military Appreciation Month, a special time for those in and out of the military. It is a time designated to honor and recognize the contributions, sacrifices, and service of the members of the armed forces, past and present.

May also has Military Spouse Appreciation Day, Armed Forces Day and, of course, Memorial Day to honor those who gave the ultimate sacrifice for their nation.

Gage County Sheriff's Office employees who served in the military:

Officer Damian Billings, US Marine Corps
Officer Mindy Baxa, US Army
Sergeant John Patsch, US Army
Sergeant Tim Hanson, US Marine Corps
ACH Nurse Rebecca Farrar, US Army

The sheriff honors and appreciates the service to their country by these former military members and he appreciates all the employees, as well as their spouses, children, and family who support all the current employees of the Gage County Sheriff's Office.
