Reminder To All Dog Owners
State of Wisconsin requires dogs to be licensed after 5 months of age. To obtain a dog license please send or drop off a copy of the dog’s immunization record that includes breed, along with a $5.00 fee for spayed and neutered dogs and an $10.00 fee for non spayed and neutered dogs. Tag will be mailed to you. Landlords please inform tenants of this responsibility. $5.00 late fee applied after April 1st.

The Village of Bear Creek has declared a Snow Emergency beginning at 3:00 a.m. on Tuesday, February 12th. This Snow Emergency remains in effect until noon on Wednesday, February 13th. A Snow Emergency prohibits parking on all Village Streets. Any violations will be ticketed and/or towed at owners expense. Notice is Hereby given that at an election to be held in the Village of Bear Creek, on Tuesday April 2, 2019 the following offices are to be elected to succeed the present incumbents listed. The term for Village Trustees will begin on April 8, 2019. All terms are for two years unless otherwise indicated.

Help Wanted ~ Deputy Clerk
The Village of Bear Creek is looking for qualified applicants for a Deputy Village Clerk. This is a part-time position (approximately 10 hours per week).Duties will include assisting the Village Clerk, Treasurer, and working with
the Water and Sewer Department as backup. Preferred applicants should have basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Quickbooks. Conducting elections, censuses and related duties will be required with training available. Applicants need to be detail-oriented with excellent customer service skills. Need not be a resident of the village. Salary will start at $15 per hour with no benefits.
