Three weeks from today is our annual barbecue sale. Lunch starts at 11am and dinner from 3 pm to 7 pm or sell out which ever comes first! Come by the station at 310 North Chatham Ave, to pick up 1 plate or 12 plate’s or 125 plates !!! We’ll sell what we have until it’s gone !!!!

Bennett Fire had their annual fireman’s supper tonight. Food was delicious as always and the fellowship was outstanding.
At this event we give out the award for Fireman of the Year and give thanks to all the sacrifices that are made throughout the year for a job well done. This year it was extra special because the Insurance Commissioner, Mike Causey, was there to present 3 extra awards, The Order Of The Guardian, and it is the highest award that can be given by NCDOI. Mark Scott, Micheal Brady, and Bernard Purvis received The Order of the Guardian award and William Morris received Fireman of the Year. All 4 awards are well deserved and a symbol of the dedication these gentleman have put forth to better serve their community.

I would also like to thank the Beulah Baptist men for preparing the meal for us. Outstanding job guys!

Bennett Fire is hosting a PPE class and here are a few pictures of the next generation of firefighters. Super proud of the drive, determination, and willingness to give up a Friday night to make the community better.
