We are so excited to welcome California Rural Legal Assistance, Inc. (CRLA) to our next Pathways at Playzeum - Inclusive Family Learning & Play Series session, happening tomorrow, 3/24, from 4–6 pm!

Join us for an informative, parent-friendly overview of CRLA’s services and how they support families in our community. They will also be sharing helpful guidance on basic rights related to special education, giving caregivers tools and knowledge to better advocate for their children.

After the short presentation, enjoy snacks and open play inside the museum, including time to explore, connect with other families, and let your kids learn through play.

✔️ Now available for Active Duty, Active Guard Reserve (on 15+ day Orders), and Title 10/32 Guard/Reserve (on 15+ day Orders)
✔️ Eligible Ranks: E1-E5 only

Spouses may apply on behalf of eligible service members with a valid Power of Attorney.

Does your child have an AAC device but you’re feeling overwhelmed about how to actually use it at home? Maybe you’re not sure when to model, what to say, or how to make AAC feel natural instead of forced. If that sounds familiar—you’re not alone.

Join us for AAC 101, a free parent training designed to break AAC down into practical, easy-to-use strategies that work in real life. This training is all about helping parents feel confident, supported, and empowered using AAC during everyday routines like play, meals, getting ready, and family time—no prior experience needed.

This event will be led by Michelle Maudri, SLP, and Fallon Woods, SLP, who will walk you through:
• How to get started with AAC at home
• What modeling AAC actually looks like (and what it doesn’t have to be)
• Simple ways to encourage communication without pressure
• How to build AAC into your daily routines
• Common myths about AAC—cleared up
