The Recreation Department offers diverse recreational, social and educational programs, as well as special events. These programs are designed to reflect the current and anticipated needs and interests of both the individual and the community. City of Beacon facilities may be rented at an affordable cost. Mark Price is the Recreation Director for the City of Beacon. He oversees and coordinates all

Recreation events and is a liaison between the City and its community. The Recreation Committee meets monthly and serves in an advisory capacity to the Recreation Director. Meeting are held once monthly on the second Tuesday at 6:30pm.
