🚧 Road Work Update – Borough of Beachwood 🚧

📅 Upcoming Schedule

June 15 – Milling
• Borough Hall parking area (Pinewald Road entrance on the Police Department side through the rear parking area behind the generator)
• Police Department parking area
• Police Impound Lot and attached driveway

June 16 – Paving
• Borough Hall parking area (Police Department side)
• Police Impound Lot

Residents and visitors should expect temporary traffic impacts and parking restrictions in these areas during construction. We appreciate your patience and cooperation as these improvements are completed.

Thank you to Ocean County, RVE, our Police Department, and all involved for their coordination and support of this project.

🚧 ROADWORK NOTICE 🚧

The Borough has been advised by Ocean County that the following roadwork schedule has been established:

🛣️ Tuesday, June 9, 2026 – Milling
• Spar Avenue from Atlantic City Boulevard to Pennsylvania Way
• Seaman Avenue from Atlantic City Boulevard to Pennsylvania Way
• Pacific Avenue from Railroad Avenue to Nautilus Street

🛣️ Wednesday, June 10 & Thursday, June 11, 2026 – Paving
• The above-listed roadways

Residents are encouraged to use caution when traveling through these areas and to anticipate possible delays during construction activities. Please avoid parking on the affected roadways during scheduled work hours to help facilitate the project.

Thank you for your patience and cooperation as these roadway improvements are completed.

🚧 Emergency Water Main Repair Notice 🚧

Please be advised that the Beachwood DPW Water Division is currently performing an emergency water main repair in the vicinity of the 300 block of Bayside Avenue.

During this work, residents in the affected area may experience temporary water service interruptions and/or reduced water pressure while crews complete the necessary repairs.

Once service is restored, some residents may notice temporary water discoloration. If this occurs, please run the cold water side of your bathtub faucet until the water clears.

The Beachwood DPW appreciates your patience and understanding as crews work to restore normal service as quickly and safely as possible. Further updates will be provided as they become available.

🚧💧 Beachwood Water Department Notice – Water Main Work Scheduled 💧🚧

Please be advised that the Beachwood Water Department will be performing water main repair/replacement work in your area on:

📅 Thursday, May 28, 2026
⏰ Beginning at approximately 8:00 AM

During this time, residents in the affected area may experience temporary water outages or low water pressure while crews complete the necessary work.

We recommend that residents:
✅ Store enough drinking water for a few hours prior to the work
✅ Limit water usage during the repair period

Once service is restored, some residents may notice temporary water discoloration. If this occurs, please run the cold water side of your bathtub faucet until the water clears.

We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your patience and cooperation as we continue improvements to the Borough’s water system.

Unfortunately, due to poor weather conditions, the Beachwood Recreation Committee has made the difficult decision to cancel River Fest.

While we are disappointed, the safety of our residents, vendors, volunteers, and attendees always comes first.

We appreciate everyone’s understanding and continued support, and we look forward to bringing more community events to Beachwood soon!

Due to today’s power outage and subsequent A/C issues, the Borough offices will be closed for the remainder of the day.

Residents may still place payments in the utility drop box located outside the building.

We will reopen for normal business hours tomorrow, Thursday, May 21, from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM.
