BERT - Station 85, Berkeley Emergency Response Team was deployed to Brick Township for flaring operations of a large underground propane tank that was leaking. Numerous agencies from Ocean and Monmouth Counties were on-scene.

Recruits learned about decon and wet chemistry on the fire ground.

Berkeley Emergency Respose Team - Sta 85 responded with Toms River Fire Company 2, Pleasant Plains Fire Company, Toms River Police Department and Toms River EMS

All foam that was deployed contained no PFOA and PFAS.

BERT - Station 85, Berkeley Emergency Response Team was dispatched from mutual aid for a multi agency event in Camden County. Agencies throughout the state responded to the incident, including Union County Hazmat and Middlesex County Hazmat. additionally, the foam task force was on hand as well to provide v***r suppression and response if needed.

Several departments were on hand for this for this large scale event.
