City of Baytown Animal Services The Baytown Animal Services Division enforces state laws and city ordinances to provide a safe and healthy environment for the citizens of Baytown.

In order to adopt you must be 18+ years of age with a valid driver's license or photo ID. In compliance with city and state law, you must sign a contract upon adoption agreeing to sterilize and rabies vaccinate

your adopted animal. You must provide us with vet documentation within the date written on your contract.

You can also visit 24petconnect.com, click on "lost my pet," and enter your zip code to search for and provide information about your missing pet.

This will help increase the chances of finding and bringing them back home safely.

Ziggy is an estimated 6-month-old neutered Pit Bull/Rhodesian Ridgeback mix who is new to the shelter as an owner surrender.

This handsome boy is friendly, affectionate, and has plenty of puppy energy to burn! He loves attention and is looking for a home where he can continue to learn, play, and grow.

While Ziggy is a sweet pup, he can be a little nervous when meeting new dogs for the first time. Because of this, a meet-and-greet with any resident dogs is recommended to help ensure a good match.

Meet Zola 🐶

Zola is estimated to be around 2 years old and is a German Shepherd who came to us as a stray about a month ago. Since then, she has been spayed and has shown us what a truly sweet, gentle, and loving girl she is.

Zola is a dainty, gentle player who would much rather spend her time with people than roughhousing with other dogs. She loves human companionship and is happiest when she's by your side soaking up attention and affection.

UPDATE -- QUIN HAS BEEN ADOPTED!

🐾💜 Quin’s Wonderful Doggy Day Out Report! 💜🐾

Last week, Quin enjoyed a fun day of adventure and relaxation! She started with a peaceful walk on a nature trail, taking time to sniff flowers, explore, and even peek over a bridge at the river below.

Quin walks beautifully on a leash, staying calmly by your side without pulling. She also did great on a car ride, happily relaxing for most of the trip.

One of her biggest adventures was trying a pool for what may have been her first swim! Quin bravely paddled around and handled the experience with her usual calm nature.

Afterward, she enjoyed chewing on a doggy bone and taking cozy naps both outside in the yard and inside the house. Throughout the day, Quin was quiet, well-mannered, and easy to have around.

Quin is a gentle, low-energy sweetheart who enjoys walks, car rides, naps, and being close to her people. If you're looking for a calm, loving companion, Quin could be the perfect addition to your family.
