TIP FOR THE NEW YEAR!
The Social Security Administration recommends leaving your Social Security card at home. The SSA released a statement cautioning those who carry their cards in their wallets. Scams are at an all-time high, and you need to safeguard your documents. The physical card is not necessary for most activities.

Happy New Year from the SARPC AAA!

If you have been one of the millions of people to experience Medicare fraud, know that it isn't your fault. Scammers are professionals at what they do.
If you did give out your Medicare number, do not be embarrassed or ashamed. Also, don't hide it. If you know someone may have your number, please report it.
The Senior Medicare Patrol (SMP) is here to help. Contact AL SMP: 1-800-243-5463.
