Steam Works Studio Presents
Make, Create and Innovate
STEAMWorks will present a demonstration to introduce children to Robotic Systems and expose them to Sensors
(motion, distance and tilt) using LEGO and
basic programming.
This demo session is geared towards children ages 5 and up.
It will take place on Nov. 12, 2016 from 1-3 in the gallery of

Magician Mark Zacharia will be performing at the Bayonne Public on Thursday, June 30, 2016 at 11:00. Children of all ages are welcome. Registration for the Summer Reading Club will also take place in the Children's Room on June 30, 2016.

We will be having a Scavenger Hunt in the Children's Room of the Bayonne Public Library. The registration will take place April 4th beginning at 9:30 till 11:30, then from 12:30-4:430 and again from 6- 8:30. The Scavenger Hunt will take place on April 11th from 6:30-8:00.There will 2 separate Scavenger Hunts. The first is for children in grades 1-3 and the second is for children in grades 4-7. The first 3 children in each group to finish the hunt will receive a prize!

COME INTO THE LIBRARY AND DESIGN A WINNING BOOKMARK
Create your own bookmark, showcasing the library, using the template the library will provide. The design may be created with crayon, colored pencils, markers and or watercolors. Remember winning bookmarks must be reproducible. The winning bookmark in each category will be announced on April 13, 2016 during National Library Week. Winners will be judged on originality, creativity, neatness and printability. GOOD LUCK!

We will give out numbers at 9:00 on March14th and start registration at 9:30. We will continue to take names until Fri., March 18th, or until programs fill up. Spaces are limited and programs might fill up quickly.
The programs will begin on Tues. April 12, 2016 and go until
May. 24th, 2016. Hope to see you at registration.

We will continue to take names until Fri. Dec.18th, or until programs fill up. Spaces are limited and programs might fill up quickly.
The programs will begin on Tues. Jan 12, 2016 and go until

Come and join Piccirillo Sciencetelling on Thursday, Oct. 29th @ 3:30. They will be performing their show "Dragons and Dreams" in the gallery of the library. Come and explore a place where Dragons are real and an Ice Sorceress rules the land. This program is for children of ages 3 and up. It is open to all Bayonne residents.
