The Parks and Recreation Committee will be sending out a letter regarding fundraising specifically for the pool. If you are looking to make a donation, either through the City of Bayard, or the Bayard Community Foundation, make sure you tell them you want your donation to go to the swimming pool.

There has been much discussion about cleaning up town and making it a place that we can be proud of. In 2015 the City of Bayard passed an Ordinance establishing the Problem Resolution Team (PRT). The purpose of this group is to gather relevant information, respond to citizen complaints, identify nuisance issues, and property code violations; from there they will work with property owners, the Code Official, and the City Council to come to a resolution that will be beneficial to all of towns residents.

While this citizen group has been around for the past 10 years, it has stopped meeting and is looking to find new dedicated people to sign up to be on this team and work alongside the city. We need 3 or 4 people who live within city limits to sit on this board and help get the town back to something we can be proud of.
